I am super thrilled to be fairly busy with photography. This past summer I started using professional packaging to ship out my CD packages-and I love the way it looks. I use a company called rebinder, and they have eco-friendly products that also have a great feel. I mail everything out in a bubble mailer, but honestly-I hate the way the envelopes look. Maybe I'm being too picky, but don't you love receiving pretty things in the mail? I plan to at least make an honest attempt at making these bubble mailers. What a great idea! I think it will give my products a really nice finished look.

All things birthday

Well, two of my favorite days of the year are quickly approaching-Michael and Ingrid's birthday! This weekend we are having two parties for Michael (I'm shooting another wedding in between), and in a few short week's is Ingrid's party! For Ingrid's party we are doing a shabby chic kitty theme, I can't wait!! We are making a trial version of her kitty cake in 2 weeks, and our sweet friend Erin is making shabby-chic kitty cookies, and there is no doubt they will be amazing!! I am making several paper flag banners and paper flowers for decoration....I'm starting to think that because I never had a "typical" wedding that I am party planning crazy for birthdays.....a few photo's of our projects.

During Ingrid's nap today I cut out ALL the triangles for her multiple banners...all stamped with a TWO! Can't wait to assemble them!

REUSE! I am saving the hole punchings from the flag banners to use as shabby chic confetti for her birthday tablescape!

Last but not least, her (not-so-shabby-chic) birthday invitations! I can't believe she will be two soon! It goes two quick! ;)

Tuesday's Link to awesomeness.

I've been too busy to blog-and for that I'm thankful!! I am so thankful to watch my photography business grow-I am so humbled that anyone would even show an ounce of interest in my work. Actually, I am overwhelmed (in a really healthy way) with the weight of what it means for someone to trust you with photographing their, wedding-engagement-newborn-family etc...It's not something I take lightly.

I want to share an awesome decorating link with you, but first I want to share this with you, how cute is she?!

Change of subject. My aunt sent me a link to this website today-and it rocked my world. If you're a lover of the shabby-sheek look, then this is for you. I have a gift card burning a whole in my pocket to The Painted Porch, and I fully intend to knock of one of these ideas (I'm thinking the ladder!).

It's the 2nd Tuesday of the month, which means we are off to celebrate our Bohemian-ness at the Pizza Ranch with the rest of the member of the Owatonna CSA. It pays to be married to a gypsy folks.
