Christmas

Last weekend Michael and I FINALLY decorated for Christmas (usually this happens sometime in October).  We decided to scale back our decorating this year because we will be spending the majority of December packing-yes, we are moving, again!  We are so excited about our new apartment, it has everything we were hoping and praying for.  Anyway, I thought I'd snap a few photos of the Christmas fun this year....it's fun to think that next christmas Ingrid will be old enough to really "get" the whole charade.

Our sad little 3 footer.  (Next year we plan to set up the 12ft, 6ft, AND 3ft Christmas Tree)

I'm an addict.  Who doesn't love eggnog?!  (answer: Michael)

Ingrid loved the cookies....(and her pops)

These are my FAVORITE christmas cookie!

Helping decorate the tree...(in reality she was about to pull it down on herself)

Crocheted Clutch

How adorable is this!?!  I crocheted a hand clutch....I'm not sure what I will put in it yet, but it's something fun to have!  I might crochet matching card holders to put in the clutch so I can actually use it functionally....yeah.  That's what I am going to do.  Okay, off to crochet those!

New Photos!

Hi friends!  Check out my photoblog at www.laurademarsphotography.blogspot.com!  New family photo sessions are up!

Headbands

I've been nuts lately.  Really.  I've been crocheting likes nuts.  It's a relaxing past time while Ingrid snoozes.  Yesterday I whipped up a headband.  I'm thinking of doing more.  But right now I'm busy crocheting a pocket book....I hope it turns out!

Crocheted Aviator Hat

My attempt at a crocheted aviator hat....it's fun to try out new things!

Ingrid was not into being my model this morning...

(I look forward to soon getting together with my cousin Katie......she is going to teach me to crochet a hat! Whoo hoo!)

Crocheted Mukluks

So I have finished the trial version of my first "mukluk boot".  There are many imperfections, and I'm slightly bummed that if I really knew how to follow a pattern, the boot would be pretty awesome.  BUT I think for not knowing what I'm doing it turned out okay.  (My second half of this pair was all kinds of wrong, so I have to start over).  Here it is!
